Vision

Empowering vulnerable communities for integrated development of the society.

Mission

To provide qualitative development support services that empower individuals, groups, and communities for integrated development of the society.

History

SEARCH was formerly Resources Innovative Development Society (RIDS) registered in the year 1995 to improve livelihoods of the Rural and Urban Poor through participatory development activities. Since the inception of the society has taken several developmental programmes with the participation of the community for their empowerment.

All the programmes were community-centric with focus on sustainable institution building because society believes participation is the key to the success of any developmental program. The society is providing the services to empower the communities towards attaining sustainable development of the community. In the year 2006 “RIDS” has been transformed as “SEARCH” with committed and experienced leaders with the tagline of “Empowering Communities”.
